Scott's Tuna

Scott is pretty happy with this tuna he caught on a lure. They have been out all day and he is now pushing up zzzzzzzz's Well done, but lets see more of your big hat on Scotto. Looking forward to catching up when you are down in a week or so. The little bloke will die of envy! 1st of April this is not a trick is it Scotto?

Sienna's 3rd Birthday

25th Feb 2012

Trav and Sienna came up Friday to be ready for the birthday tomorrow. Sienna got up around 6am and got into bed with Trav and was waiting for him to wake up so she could get into the presents she has a lot of patience that one, I would have ripped into them.

My time flies she is no longer a baby, but a little girl, shame really as it goes too fast, however she is good fun.

She got lots of dolls for her big dolls house, an orange juicer from me, as she loves her home made juice and I want to teach her so she can make one for her daddy. Face painting, Lego and more from Scott and Ange in a parcel from Broome

A VERY noisy Dora guitar from Jenelle I could kill her!!! I cannot remember what else, but she did well. Some Dora DVD’s, a bubble maker - which may or may not work!…..

Mindarie Quays is packed; Lots of tourists and lots of things to do there. Heaps of shops, a lovely place to swim lots of different eating houses……not to mention the English Candy Store I stocked up there, which I am sure I am going to regret or I should say I do already.

Under Water World we saw lots of big fish, with huge string rays and sharks going over our heads. I like the coral reef display below with the pretty little fish the best. It is not bad value for money and quite interesting. Lots of feral people though! Maybe best to go during the week when it is not so busy.

We had Sharkey’s fish and chips for lunch, not bad, the fish was lovely but the chips and squid rings were cold. A very long wait when we were very hungry – but a beer and fish n chips did the trick, Travis spiked my vodka on Friday night so the greasy food was just what I felt like.

Dad ringing Uncle "cott, Ange Coby and Eddy to thank him for my presents while we waited for lunch and we also shared a spearmint milkshake that helped while we waited.

This year was soooo much cooler than the 40+  we had for Sienna’s last birthday at the Zoo thank the lord.

We had ice-cream cake and a sing a long while chatting to Scott and Ange on Skype as I knew they would have loved to have been here for the birthday. Hence I did not take any photos of the cake.

Friggin’ knee was as sore as a tooth ache, it has been good for weeks – however you do need to be half mountain goat at Under Water World cause of all the stairs but it was worth it.

Sienna enjoyed her day and was a treat to be around. I took my iPod along and gave them a real treat with some of my favourite music. Dr Hook, some country and western, nice change from the head banging! I think they both loved it! I must remember to take it again on long trips. I caught Trav out the corner of my eye singing along at times!

You wore this Coby and Eddy T shirt for your birthday with a black frill skirt and looked soooo cute.

Jason's photos not for the faint hearted

These are shocking photos no wonder Jas has been in sooo much pain. Still has a long road ahead, another operation. They did say at the Hospital that the only thing holding his leg on was the skin and now I think I can see that.

Talking to Pam today and she said lots of her friends from Golf have had new knees and hips at Bunbury Hospital and are doing well. So from all reports and treatment Jason has had  I think if my knee does not come good I may have to look into Bunbury Hospital, cause I sure as hell would not go to Peel.

Bunbury Hospital seems to have been the best place out of the four Jas has been in ……….who would have thought!

How to kill two birds with one stone........
I miss Jack sooooooooooo much but still want some freedom to travel. I lost my little man on October 24th 2011. He was going on 15 and had an attitude problem, god only knows where that came from! We went everywhere together and he was very special to me.
So I thought why not dog sit and that should fix both problems........I will have a dog to care for and  like baby sitting it is great to give 'em back some times! Link to photos of Jack & Max

R.I.P Tilly Yates

Some of my favourite photos of Tilly at the Melros Beach the summer of 2012. Til it is sooooooo quite down the beach now without you. I hope your mate Jack was waiting to show you around. Til and if he has his way he will find a good beach for you both to enjoy. I miss you both.

Who would have thought.....This is going straight to the BLOG. Well done Scotto at last you are catching some good fish and looking so happy about it. I am not sure if they are good eating but who cares it is one handsome fish my boy. Travis will be sooooo jealous -

White Hills Beach 2009

This was the catch of the day!
So you can see he had room for
improvement.....Broome seems to hold

Scott Spag Bol Recipe

Here is the recipe Scott, let me know how you go

500grams Heart Safe Mince

1 Onion

2 garlic cloves (optional)

Little chilli (optional)

Fry up onion and garlic until clear

Pop in mince and brown a little

1 tin tomatoes

4 tablespoons of tomato paste

Season with salt and pepper

1 teaspoon each of oregano, basil

1/2 teaspoon of thyme

Add 1 litre of water bring to the boil and then simmer for 3-4 hours

Pig out it is delish.

My new Painting Box

Who would have thought a rainy day and a new box of paints could be sooooo much fun until it got out of hand  I  painted everything including Jenny so off to the bath for a clean up and out of my good clothes so daddy does not growl.

My new "painting smock" before I get stuck into this painting again........ not to mention my new pirate gum boots for my winter walks - I guess I will just have to have another bath.....................

A "blue horse" for my Daddy..................

We also now have blue walls, floors and furniture.................just as well Jenny likes BLUE.......

however I have taken to this painting like duck to  water I just love it. June 2012

Bertie in Bouvard
He was a lovely boy and talked really well - a little foul of the mouth
at times, no idea where that came from! I am not sure what happened to him, but I think he was bitten by a spider or snake he went down fighting. I loved him but would not cage another bird I would rather watch them in the wild.
