Coby and Eddy two very pampered dogs. They love their pillows

Eddy loves his bath and to swim.....he is a very naughty boy but still a baby with lots of personality.

Cuddle for Daddy when he comes home from a hard day at the Office.

I have never seen anyone sooooo happy to be a LOSER. However Scotto got me back a couple of nights later for double this.......me not soooooooo happy!!! hence NO photo!

Last night we went to "The Oaks" out in Cable Beach it was fabulous, just been built. Good food.

See ya all again next year. I love Broome. Thanks for a great holiday Ang and Scotto

R.I.P Peter Frances Jones

Peter lost his brave battle with cancer on Friday 12th July 2013 the baby of the family. He was with Deanne, Aaron and their new born Emlyn in their home so he had a very peaceful and dignified passing. He will be missed. He would have been really pissed off he missed the Derby on Saturday as he loved his footy and would have gone to Greg's his best mate to watch it there as he had done the previous weeks.

Peter's farewell was very well done by Deanne and he would have been really pleased with the turn out.

R I P taken too soon but at least out of pain now.

Ally and Ollie

Alley and Ollie on a very wet Saturday and the Derby is on so what's a dog to do except sleep in front of the heater and we never got a walk today as it is too wet! The Eagles lost too but it was a good game.

I hate football it is so boring by Al.

Derby Racers

Great excitement as we set off for the Derby Cup 2013 in Scott's new 4WD.
Scott and I thought we would clean up having a couple of bets and some one had lead Scott's mad friend Brilsey to believe that Derby was the town of nurses, so off we headed on the 2 and half hour drive with great expectations.
When we got to the gate the guy said "it is free today", we thought this is good we have had a win already, then he followed with "the racers are cancelled cause the track is a little damp!"
There go the nurses and our bets - and we never got to see a horse!!!!! However it was a very comfortable ride and I loved seeing the country up there again after all these years!

The prison tree, that I had seen when I was 18 (where have all those years gone - I must look through my old photos and see if I can find the old ones I took of this tree, they are probably in black and white!) and it did not have a fence in those days. But thanks to the vandals now it has! It is amazing I have forgotten how many prisoners they use to keep in there, but it was lots.

For those of you who have carved their letters in this tree I would like to say you are arseholes for destroying nature that people from all over the world come to visit.

Brilsey and Scotto - not a nurse in sight!

It was a wet day and we found "The Wharf" restaurant in Derby, being my favourite in Broome we thought we would give it a go.....it was a good choice as it was great. Just as well as it was an 5 hour drive to try it out!!!!!

Sienna picking her orange

Gayle and Reg saved Sienna an orange for her to pick and eat so she knows where they come from. It was lovely and juicy and she loved it.

We got some nice big lemons to take home.

July 2013 Dogs

Ollie

Sienna brought Monkey up for the dogs as he had a broken leg.....he is not going to last long at all, Ollie was cuddling him and then took to him not a lot left! He had fun though must give him a big walk now the sun has come out after all the rain.
R.I.P monkey Ollie buried it up by the back fence!

On my lap watching telly as it is freezing and we are sitting under the heater, one cute dog.
It has been raining for a couple of days what's a white dog suppose to do......dig in the garden of course! Cheeky but adorable Ollie.

Broome 2013 Holiday

Great way to start my holiday straight from the plane to my favourite restaurant in Broome "The Wharf" for chilli prawns....yum and  it was great to feel warm again

Red and Scott on our trip to Mindarie.

Scott took a couple of days off work and we went bush to Mindarie. It is in the middle of no where and very beautiful. No one else around and you need a 4WD to get there. This is Scott's new car and he loves it. Red is an old friend from Bunbury who now lives in Broome.

First catch to the day......there were fish jumping out of the water all over the place as the tide was going out....we had the wrong bait and only got these two in the first 10 minutes!!!

Scott helping Red pull in the big queen fish, there was great excitement.

Scott and Red with the big queen fish we let it go it was very pretty, however we did not know then it would be the last catch of the day!

With the tide going out there are all these little patterns in the sand where there was a shell or rock, I was impressed they looked fabulous. Nature is a great thing. There were all little rock pools and if you sat quietly you would see little clown fish and all sorts coming out from beneath the rocks.

Just as well we had the crispy bread and chops cause our fishing went downhill after the first 10 mins.

Sun setting at Mindari a really beautiful place and a great day
We came back from Mindari to go and see the stairway to the moon. It was 15% bigger this year than ever, however my photo does not do it justice. I saw it years ago and it was nothing like this it was fabulous. Then we had a curry at the night markets. Big day.

This is what I got at the Stairway to the Moon. Sand fly bites, between these and my feet I keep the Broome chemist is some really good business for the next couple of days, I had bites everywhere!

The Mud Crabs

Scott had to go back to work and Red went out and caught these for me. They got 13 on the day. They are big mean suckers. We kept them alive in the sink for 24 hours by which time I had named them all Barney, Betsy and Billy so did not feel like eating them. But when the chilli crabs appeared I could not help myself they were delish. Scotto is always happy and a great host.

Not only is Red a great fisherman he peels the crabs for you...onya Red.

At Reds and Ryans picking me a coconut or two.

Ang and Scott's lush garden I wish things grew this fast down here.

Coby and Eddie looking for the trouble making dogs up the road.
