Half Price Security Shutters

We all like to have a win every now and again and thanks to Half Price Shutters I had one today

I needed two cords replaced in my security shutters and kept putting it off because of the price.

I emailed for 4 quotes from the local Mandurah dealers - which is unusual for me, I usually just ring one thinking there won't be much difference anyway.

Half Price Shutters replied in a matter of minutes and with the best quote
Melissa was very helpful when she rang and I asked for a Seniors discount and got another $20 off a $190.00 job. Phil the technician did a great job.

One replied after  3 days and the quote was more than double Half Price Shutters
Another replied after 7 days and the quote was more than double Half Price Shutters also.
I was gob smacked that there could be so much difference in these quotes.

Sunday 14th April

BIG DAY Jenny and I did some lovely drawings to send to 'oan in America and Uncle Scotto and Daddy on the dogs walk around the Bridges showed me how this Postal system works, next time I come to stay 'oan will be able to show me on Skype how she has them after they have had a big trip on a plane, it is sooooo amazing

I love Daisy and she loves me. I love to walk her as she is a good girl - Daisy has a couple of little girls in her family so it is good I can give her a cuddle

oooooops Connor we are sprung in the little ones bed!

These dolphins and their babies were playing right under the bridge in the same area for ages it was like they were teaching their babies. They were very light in colour and the babies swam under their mothers, so cute.

Teaching Uncle Scott the right way to walk these dogs.
I can relax now Uncle Scott seems to have got the gist of this dog walking now!

We even managed to get Archie out for his walk today.....what a nervous nelly I had to carry him a lot of the way. Funny little man but we love you Archie.
A girl and her Uncle I am going to miss you Uncle Scotto. I hope you have a safe trip home to Broome.

Nose Picking

Sienna was picking her nose this morning and I asked her to stop!

"I'm flickin'  it" was her reply

I thought what is this child learning at skol!

I asked "Who taught you that?"

Imagine my shock and horror when she said "Jennelle"

....................................................................

Oh dear! Not sure if that's an improvement over eating what she finds up there or not!

You better tell  Sienna that if she would like a sleepover at Nelly's during her school holidays she better put that nose candy in a tissue!

Hopefully now that shocker is dealt with you can both enjoy a lovely visit :) Jennelle

....................................................................

Hi Jenny
I'm glad  she said  nell  and not me.
But I do remember Sienna getting  told off on more than one occasion for having her finger up her nose.
It seems  to be her favourite  past time at the moment .

We love seeing  all her adventurers on your Blog and to see Travis and Sienna together  makes us all very happy because he is such a loving  dad.

You did good with those boys.

Melros Beach April 8

My what a difference a couple of days make. The winter beach is here and it is rough. So I guess this is the end of our swimming at Melros for this season, pity as it is one of my favourite beaches -  it has washed away all the way up to the dunes. Avalon is still OK cause it is sheltered.

The 3 Jacks love the beach and run up and down the sand hills then sleep the day away.
Connor does not have his listening ears on at the beach - he loves it soooo much.....but he is really good at other times. He just never wants to leave the beach, me neither really!

April 2013

They are back the 3 Jacks. Looking cute here but remembered me and settled in really quickly. They are good girls and boy. Mum and Dad are in the UK. Took them to Melros Beach they went wild up and down sand hills they certainly slept well after that. They are good hounds.

Connor is a lovely big dog and very gentle. He is a big sook with his special toy. He loves to swim. He is guarding his food in the garage I have worked out as I was concerned why he was not coming in the house.

Walk around The Cut with Anya, Jason and Zac. Connor is a lucky dog he also went to the beach this morning and had a big swim his favourite thing to do a big nap and then out for a walk before dinner.
The three Jacks Molly, Archie, Daisy with Connor and Anya Jas and Zac No such thing as a free holiday around here, a little dog walking to earn your dinner. It was perfect down The Cut not a drop of wind.

Anya, Jas and Molly and Connor.
Nothing I like better than fresh flowers and these came from Jas, Anya and Zac they are lovely.

Golden Orb Spider

Who would have thought spiders do house work. I watched this one bring he latest catch the bottom blow fly and pop it in line with the rest of his stash - amazing.
RIP my Golden Orb - the very next day after this photo I went out and it is dead! I am wondering if house work is good for me now!
I pinched a little piece of this stunning red geranium in Bay View Terrace a couple of months ago and here is the first flower it is such a deep red.
