January 2013 dogs

Dear Ally such a sweet dog, she loves to swim and being aged (12) she sleeps a lot and is no trouble at all. We had a heat wave while she was here she loves the beach as the photos show..
The heat wave, what's a girl to do but sleep. Too hot even to take Al to the beach.

I like to clean up all the seaweed.
This is heaven.  What a happy girl.

A nice big roll in the sand before I hit the car!
A little sick bird which we got taken to the Wildlife people, it was not in good shape and they don't think the poor thing was going to make it. Al was so good and did not go near it.....she is very well trained. I could keep her.
Photos by Reg. Ally on her walk down "The Cut"
Taylor & Matilda Reg & Gayles lovely grandchildren loved Ally as did all that met her.

Xmas 2012

Christmas is probably not the best day for your camera to play up, but that is what happened to mine so not a lot of photos's turned out. Sienna was lovely and very excited she did manage to sleep in until 6am she cleaned up and got some lovely presents.. Trav and I had cocktails and played dice Xmas Eve, I won as usual, it is like taking candy off a baby. It may be a while thanks to him before I have a cocktail again! Cosmopolitans....
We had breakfast and then a swim before a cold Seafood lunch, as we did the roast the Christmas Eve thanks to the heat wave.

The party boy trying to get his head around how everything works, I think it is a little early for him. It did take him some time to put the new bike together last night  .

Two peas in a pod look at these two playing with the new iPad thingo.
Clever Clop thanks to Pre School already knows how to ride a bike.

Sunday 9th Dec 2012

I brought the Jamie Oliver 15 minute meals cook book. Trav & I decided to give the 15 minute Chicken Caesar Salad a go and it was TERRICIC my first lot of tomatoes out of my garden for this year - NOTICE served as Jamie would on a board. We also made a drink Jamie suggested to go with it orange/lemon with mint and sparkling water very refreshing on a summers day. Eat your heart out Scotto We had a swim to get an appetite with the three dogs, Kara, Zac & Danny. .Sienna is off colour and not a happy camper this weekend. She has bites all over her, some mozzies, spider and ants by the look of things!

We are sooooo confident now we are going to enter “My Kitchen Rules” & Masterchief  as a team. We may of lost points for the time it took approx 1 hour, and also we did not have the cleanest kitchen in the end  there was shit everywhere………….but it was DELICOUS. Trav took the left overs home for his dinner.

FISHING
To start the day Trav said dawn! not sure 10.30am is dawn but that's when we went after a big cook up breakky. His luck was the same as always, I think the photo's explain it all. He got Sienna a new fishing line and it broke after one cast, I couldn't quite hear what he said but I don't think I could print it here anyway.

Look out here is the catch of the day! We caught two crabs that were soooo small they fell through the netting on the nets! So $10 worth of bait and one little trumpeter and two winy crabs........should have just brought some prawns for lunch really.

Zac and Danny

These two little dogs are a result of FIFO job, their Mum had to surrender them to K9 Mandurah. I have them to foster cause Eric could not bear to pop the dear little men into a kennel until we can find a good home for them. So if you are interested or know anyone who would love them please contact Eric at
K9 Mandurah Danny is the Black one and Zac the brown. They are not young dogs but love each other and  are really good company. They have been vet cleared and micro chipped and are ready to go. Eric would like them to be kept together as they are such good mates.

ERIC phone number 0418 945 404 - email: eric@dogcommunicator.com.au

They are not nervous or nasty, just sweet little dogs.

This came up by it self this week, what a bonus I think it is a "Hippy"

Bundy Bear

Bundy came to stay while his Mum went out for the day he is not use to being left and was a good little dog looking for his Mum a lot though. He is a Japanese Spitz a handsome little man I must say.

Looking at the last place he saw his Mum and the car. He did settle down eventually and came up for cuddles all the time.
He made himself at home, I love the tail he looks so well groomed and is very gentle. We went for a walk up The Cut he gets lots of admiring looks and comments. Once on the bridge he just sat down and popped his ears back and did not want to go any further.....so we came home again. He is so soft and gentle I could keep him.
