Took my roses out after battling for a year. The soil here is not good, too close to the ocean I would think. I did everything from sheep poo, mulch etc etc to no avail. Gayle and Reg are now enjoying the roses.
So I now have my rock garden that I have always wanted done in a couple of days. The lawn needs to grow in a straight line now, and the Agavé garden with also be rocked in these same rocks this week should look flash! Water wise - no care needed and it looks great I think.
